Doomben Cup Day Style Inspo

This week Racing Style Nation brings you style tips for the upcoming Doomben Cup Day.

With a sensational turnout for UBET BTC Cup Day FOTF last weekend, (see the winners in the RSN Winning Style) you can be sure that the competition is set to go off for Doomben Cup Day with the newly introduced 'Fashion Forward' theme.   I predict FOTF entrants will take this opportunity to adapt their love of edgier trends to the traditional racewear options that are intrinsically aligned with racing fashion.

A trickier theme for some, given fashion is so subjective.

What may be interpreted as fashion-forward for one person may be too out there for another's taste.  My tip would be to think of this as a balancing act.  There are some beautiful bold prints in season that can be executed perfectly with muted accessories.  For me, it's always about keeping the racewear ensemble from looking like too much of a costume.  But keeping up with the detail required to take home that coveted sash.

This raceday will be the perfect opportunity for gents to mix and match their suiting separates or work in several textures and patterns keeping in mind the seasonal etiquette for men's racing.  See the Dashing, Dapper and Dandy gentlemen of the racing style scene.

We can't wait to see what racing style ambassador, and Long Weekender presenter, Anna Heinrich is wearing as she will also be on the judging panel for this much anticipated display of Brisbane's fashion savvy.
